Look around and listen to most messages and you will hear, "Say this prayer with me and you'll be saved!" The only problem with that is they leave out what the Bible says. I challenge you to dig in your Bible and find one example where someone prayed and they were saved. YOU CAN'T! But what you will find over and over again is this:

1. You must hear the Word of God (Romans 10:17)

2. You must believe the Word (Mark 16:16)

3. You must confess Jesus as Lord of your life (Romans 10:10)

4. You must repent (turn away from) your sins (Acts 2:38)

5. You must be baptized (immersed in water) into Christ (Acts 22:16)

6. You must live faithfully for the remainder of your life (Revelation 2:10)
