BURNING LIFE GREETERS

You may have seen them on your travels around the Burning Life SIMs, on entry... But, Who are these fabulous people?!
Well ill tell you... these people ARE the Burning Life Greeters! And they are here to greet you! Lead by Electra Fargis, the greeters meet all of you loverly Burners out their and well, You may wonder 'What do these people really do?' well this is what Electra Fargis said when asked this in an interview: " hun we do it all we take people on tours we welcome them home we give them info on all events and camps we give links out to them we find people they are looking for we find them plots there is allot we party with them make them feel at home" So you see these are the people on the front lines dealing with EVERYONE and meeting you all, if you need something you can almost guarantee they can help you. This wonderful team not only give up their RL free time to help you! But they also give up their SL time for it too, so is it worth it? Well here is what said "all in all i think it is great" So they enjoy themselves helping you enjoy yourselves, could you do what they do as good as them? And are the overly confident about what they do? Here is what Electra Fargis had to say "many have worked on this event and i don't thin one person should get all the credit i think it should be team and community that get all the credit" What an attitude?! Whats that, How do you help?, Well you can start by giving them a BIG hug and saying thank you for a start....... What do others on the team have to say? Heres what Meghan Dench had to say "Well I have great respect for the greeters in a WHOLE as they are their through out the event facing everyone and give the Burners a HUGE feeling of safety and support, just with their presence and they also work EXTREMELY hard for Burning Life, truly wouldn't be the same without them.", Well this speaks for itself, GREAT JOB Greeters, KEEP on burning for us! your doing an GREAT job! So next time you see a greeter, give them a hug, EVEN use our shout out page! And remember KEEP ON BURNING!
Lamplighters Procession

Lamplighters serve as a symbol of community and of participation. We represent the true spirit of camaraderie and sharing that is the basis for Burning Life: we light the pathway to the magic of the night.
Every evening at 7:15 pm SLT, we gather at Temple and begin the 7:30 procession to Center Camp. All are invited and encouraged to join this moving and beautiful sunset walk.
At Center Camp, LaPiscean provides music for Tribal Drumming and Fire Dancing. Dance the night away; chant your heart open through sacred call and response music in a group setting. Sing, clap, dance and drum together to create a deep connection to the secret places of your soul.
Burning Life Rangers

Have you seen them? They wear a title saying 'Ranger 07" and wander around, seemingly aimlessly in uniform and no... not just to woo the ladies either, These are the Burning Life rangers and they are here to help.
They do look damn fine but they also do an excellent job here on the Burning Life Sims, keeping the peace in times of trouble, with griefers and also making Burning Life STAY a non commercial place by dealing with commercial objects and also keeping the Sims clear from pesky rubbish ie. blank cubes.
These FANTASTIC rangers have the power, the attitude and the style to do their jobs, an they do a fine job too, keeping calm at all times and STICKING to the rules, Don't break the TOS as if you do, they WILL be their to deal with you.
These rangers deserve respect.
The Burning Life rangers are the official 'police' of Burning Life, Heres what Bjorlyn Loon had to say "The Black Rock Rangers are the most needed volunteers on the playa. From a backed up port a potty to a major griefer attack, they are first to respond, first to take care of people and their needs, first to be certain that what they learn is recorded for others to know and use. But often, the Rangers are the last to be loved and appreciated. Rangers spend countless hours waiting for that one moment when the whole show would simply....STOP, if they weren't around. And for lots of us, they simply can't get there fast enough. If I had the powers, I would give the Black Rock Rangers wings... not just so they could move faster, but also because, for me, they are angels."
This is what Iridium Linden had to say when asked to support the rangers:

   The Man Burns

The sims were FULL as the man burned last night, Its was truly a spectacular event which will not be forgotten, but some of you may have missed it and so we have got these pictures for you, isn't it just amazing?
