I worked at the Chamblee GA Burger Chef when I was 15 years old. It was just 2 doors down from a McDonalds. it was pretty quiet in there at night, everybody was up the street. We did have a few regulars, oddly who liked tat weird roast beef we had. It was kept under a heat lamp. We used a slicer, then poured a strong brown gravy over it while on the bun.

The building is still there, it is an Advance Auto parts now. Good memories of my first job.

Hello! I worked for BC from 1967 to 1977. First as Manager of Glendale store, then Keystone, finally Fairgrounds unit. Was promoted to In-store Training Instructor, then became a classroom Training Instructor, helped train 100's of company and franchise managers from all over the country. Then became Area Manager for northern half of Indiana, clear up to Elkhart. Burger Chef helped pay my way through Butler University, much appreciated. If anyone remembers me, drop a email line some time. Currently retired in Florida after 40 years in San Diego. Good memories. I suspect there are a lot of former mgr. trainees who remember the team of instructors who taught at the Fairgrounds Training Center and then the 'new' Training Center on 16th St! Tremendous site.

I worked at the one in Biltmore Village in Asheville NC. I was 16 years old and worked there for 4 months. Best french fries in the world as they were done from scratch. It paid for my 1962 VW beetle!

When I was a kid here in Kenosha ,Wisconsin. I remember going to Burger Chef. I believe they have two franchises here in Kenosha. That must've been around 1966 or 1967.
