Ciane is a scholar with a secret--nothing new in the village-town of Sato Mura.  But with the meeting of the ghostly boy Blaisius and two foreigners Ciane is going to get to know ve-ry well, everyone's secrets are about to get a little bigger.  The real question is: Did it all start with the flash of light, or with Blaisius' sudden bout of kleptomania?

What could be better than tramping through a forest full of ghosts--while being followed by a spy who knows Ciane's greatest secret?
