Anyone who has ever heard of a super hero or mutant or sorcerer, Warlock, Witch, Wizard, magical Demon, etc. has likely at one point in life asked themselves, “What would I do with super powers?” Unfortunately, (or, perhaps in some cases, fortunately) none of us have ever been able to answer that question definitely. Of course, we all give ourselves the benefit of the doubt, assuming that given that great power we would wield it responsibly, saving innocents, fighting crime, saving infants and toddlers from burning buildings and the like. But in this world of ours with its obscure and increasingly ambiguous moral code you have to do a little bit of extra soul-searching. Really, could you bring yourself to constantly turn away from the easy path, constantly and consistently condemning yourself to the path of the hero?
Could you make the hard choices every day? Let a villain live and allow them to simply be cared for by the slow, corrupt, ineffective, Justice system as we know it? The kind that would likely be unprepared to house a criminal of the likes of The Joker, Metallo, Sinestro, Dr. Octopus, Magneto, Omni-Man, or any of the other rogues that plague the world of comic books? In these worlds where any one of the abovementioned “super villains” can kill scores of people on a whim, could you resist the urge to simply shatter their spinal column? Crush their skull under your heavy boot? Drop them from a tall building? (Provided they can’t fly?)
It seems that in so many incarnations of the comic world super abilities are given to all the right people and in overwhelming numbers. Call me a cynic, but if such abilities were suddenly distributed in such high numbers as it is in the world of comics, I would call the world a beautiful place if the Super Villains were actually a minority in the grand scheme of things as they are in the world of comics. If there were such a world where only the most depraved were not raised with the basest sense of responsibility toward one’s fellow man, I would tip my hat because I feel those days are long past. The following story is how I feel the world would react to thirty seven brand new super-people and how those super-people would react to the new world they are thrust into.
Folks, make sure to check back every few days for updates. With any luck this story will be finished. Until then, enjoy reading it for free. If all goes well it might not be free for long. Muaahahahahaha. Curse my ego.

Chapter 9 is up and finished. I'm sure it could stand to be edited but it's all good. If any readers feel like commenting directly I have a link on the side of the page that goes directly to my e-mail, so voice away.

Chapter Eight is now up and rocking. I've been slacking on this and working at real life stuff. But luckily I no longer have real work so I might be turning out more chapters. If anyone even reads this, please let me know. I'm eager to hear thoughts. Maybe I'll update more often. Enjoy Chapter 8!

Chapters Six and Seven are up and awaiting your thoughts folks. That's right, this site is user-friendly, though the web designer (me) has no idea why the hell the damned site won't regulate the font size properly. It goes from size two to four to two to three. I don't get it, but it's the text that matters, right? I mean, the presentation is nothing with the substance, right? RIGHT?! Someone save me from this website hell. Or just give me a book deal, that'd be great and I'd appreciate it. Dear readers, please do E-mail me with words of encouragement or death threats. Whatever, I just like to know that someone's reading my work. And for the record, I started writing this before Heroes came on the air and I have still yet to see an episode. Please don't claim I'm stealing ideas. (not that anyone has yet.)

For those of you who just kinda pop in here every so often, special treat. I changed/altered Chapter 3 so now I think it flows much nicer and has considerably more action as well as character development. I never liked the way Chapter 3 originally turned out, but now I am far more pleased with it. That is the reason I haven't been updating, I've been so distracted by crap-ass chapter 3 I had to go and fix it before I could move on. Thanks for your patience, kids.
On another note, I'd like to start working on a multi-media page. If you have any ideas for a song or if you feel like throwing fan art at me, I'd love you forever and certainly post it. The characters are vaguely discribed so that you all might be able to have a blast designing them how you see fit! Have a blasty, folks.
