The Greater Norwich Anti-Bullying Coalition Stop the Violence
Mission Statement
The Greater Norwich Anti-Bullying Coalition empowers parents,children,youth, educators, and the community to prevent and stop acts of bullying and violence.
Objectives:
- To provide educational programs that address the issues of bullying and violence.
- To promote awareness of "The Bullying Law and School Policies".
- To train parents, children, youth, educators, and the community in mediation techniques to assist in resolving conflicts.
Norwich
Community Organizations are: Uncas Health District, Norwich Youth and Family, YMCA, Backus Hospital, United Community and Family Services, Norwich Police Department, Norwich Churches Together, Norwich Recreation Department, Norwich Public Schools, Community Coalition for Children, NFA Project Outreach, NAACP, Norwich Arts Council, Girl Scouts USA, Norwich Children First, Catholic Charaties. Businesses are Walmart.Salvation Army,Worship Skate Shop,Olympic Pizza, Dunkin Doughnuts, Norwich Free Academy, Norwich Tech, First Student Bus Company, Mad Science, Rose City Renaissance, and the City of Norwich.
