Tony Romo told Dallas coaches yesterday he would be ready to play against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. Last week he broke his pinkie on his throwing hand in the Cardinals- Cowboys game. Today he practiced with the team and looked good in practice. If, Tony Romo is able to play, the Dallas Cowboys will have a great offense. On Tuesday the Dallas Cowboys traded for Roy Williams. Roy Williams is one of the best wide recievers in the NFL and always makes amazing catches. The acquistion of Roy Williams allows Terrell Owens to be more open. Usually he is doubled teamed by the other's team defense. Now, with Roy Williams, other teams can't afford to double Terrell Owens. The Cowboys have Terrell Owens, Roy Williams, Jason Witten, Marion Barber, Felix Jones. I don't see any team stopping the Cowboys offense. The one problem with Tony Romo playing with a broken pinkie is the chance of him getting his pinkie further damage. Last season he injured his pinkie while playing against the Philadelphia Eagles. I think Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys must take that chance because they are in a tough division. The Giants and Redskins are already ahead of them in the standings. The Eagles are only one game behind. If the Cowboys let Tony Romo rest for a couple of weeks, the Cowboys could lose more games and be out of the playoff race.
Yesterday Adam Pacman Jones was suspended again for violating the personal conduct policy. This is the second time he has been suspended from the NFL. Last time he was suspended for involvement in a shooting in a strip club. This time he was suspended for fighting his bodyguard. I don't understand why it is so hard for him to stay out of trouble. You would think he would have learn his lesson after being suspended for 1 year. He has been given many chances to stay out of trouble and play in the NFL. He continues to disappoint people. Roger Goodell did the right thing by suspending him for at least 4 games. He gave Adam Pacman Jones another chance to play in the NFL and he blew it. Adam Pacman Jones continues to embarass the NFL. He is a great player, but he is not worth the trouble. The Cowboys made the wrong decision in trading for him. I doubt he stays out of trouble after his suspension is over. He always finds a way to get in trouble with the law.
