At Acorn Shaken Taxidermy we offer professional skull cleaning done at an affordable price. We use Dermestid beetles for all our skull cleaning. It is without a doubt the only way to clean skulls, beleive me I tried several ways myself. Our skulls are cleaned, degreased, whitened, and sealed if preferred. I recommend sealing if they are to be indoors, because if they do get dirty simply wipe them off and they're clean. If they aren't sealed you will embed the dirt into the pourse bone and it's there to stay.
A cabinet maker by trade you must demand perfection. This is reflected in ALL OUR WORK from preparing skulls to mounting them on plaques, building display cases to all the custom orders we take. If you can dream it I'm sure we can make it. Besides I love challenges.
