In it's prosporous times, the village had one night been attack by a mythical creature known as Kyuubi no Yoko or, the "Nine Tailed Fox Demon". This Fox Spirit, with a swing of one of it's tails, could start Tsunami's and crush mountains. The village was close to being destroyed, until the Hokage, the "Fire Shadow", a Village Leader who was the most strongest Shinobi of all of his village, had sealed away the Fox into the body of a small infant. This infant was known as Uzumaki Naruto.

As Naruto grew older, the boy had seemed to get on the bad side of the Village. Considering he had a Fox Demon sealed inside of him, the same Demon that destroyed many of the villages Love ones. And so, it was rules by the Hokage, to never speak of this. However, Naruto comes to find out very soon.

After enrolling into the Shinobi Academy, Naruto had decided to become a Ninja and earn the villages respect by becoming the strongest Ninja in the village in hopes of one day acclaiming the title, "Hokage-Sama". Only then will the Village respect him. "These are the Chronicles of Uzumaki Naruto."

The Author of Naruto
The Creator of the Series Naruto, is known by "Masashi Kishimoto". He has had a previous manga about a Fox Demon that infact leaded him to creating Naruto. Kishimoto's biggest inspration for manga would be the creator of Dragonball Z, Akira Toriyama. As a kid, his favorite animation show was Dragonball, and he loved the artwork of Toriyama. That is also why he created Naruto, which is suppose to be on the same level as Dragonball, or atleast, that was what he had hoped.

Pre-Naruto
In 1997 Masashi Kishimoto would create the first published incarnation of the Naruto series. Debuting in Akamaru Jump, the Naruto one-shot would be Kishimoto's first incarnation of the Naruto universe. Though the plot of the one-shot bears little resemblance to the later shonen manga, many of the same character and ninja themes would be displayed for the first time.
