.About Me.

Hello! I am the one and only Samantha Briese. I am currently 15 years old, turning 16 in about 7 good months. Drivers License baby! Ha. Anyways. I'm just your ordinary teenaged girl, completely obsessed and pre-occupied with horses.
I have two sisters, in which I love both very much. I have a 23 year old sister Nicole who lives in Lansing Michigan with her boyfriend Pat. I dont see her much anymore though. I also have a younger sister named Amanda who is 14 and my best friend. We've been through so much together, and always seem to pull each other through the hard times.
Currently I live in Illinois, in a small town along the Mississippi river. We live on 7 acres of land, and currently own three horses, two dogs, and 9 cats. This is the first time ever that we've lived on more than one acre of land, and had our horses with us at home. We used to live in Port Huron Michigan, if you are a Michigan person, you would know thats up by Canada. Which is an extremely long ride.
For my hobbies, I would say horses are my favorite. The next best thing is Motorcross. I've been riding horses for little over eight years now, and I could still tell you my very first ride on a horse. I first had gotten interested in horses when I was at the rip old age of five years old. The first horse I ever rode was a overweight black Quarter Horse mare named Gabby. I was practically doing the splits on her back. After a few years of being lead around on Gabby, sadly she died and my grandpa bought two more horses. Sunny and Stormy. Stormy was the very first horse I galloped on. I remember how fast my heart was pounding after we ran across that big hay field. Most exciting thing in the world. Anyways, after that my dad had be-friended a man named Don Mackentire who's wife rode Equestrian with two rather large Thorougbhreds. Which in fact, was basically where it all began. First lesson:...wow. I couldnt wait to go back and ride again. I rode tons of horses before I actually got my first horse. Then luckily for me, after working at a boarding stable of 30 or more horses for about four years, we moved to Illinois, and its just great.
I decided I'd make this site basically for advertising, and just for something for me to do when I'm bored. I want everybody to see how wonderful horses really are, and how much fun you can actually have with them. Which in turn is why I made this site, to share my love and passion for horses. Thank you so much for taking the time to read all of this.
