What we do...........we try to offer quality affordable horses at a working family's price. We try to keep our prices low by doing things alittle differently. First, all horses are sold AS IS, NO GUARANTEES. You are more than welcome to come and ride them all you like. Be sure you are completely satisfied with the one you have chose to buy. Second, all sales are final. And finally, no checks. We accept cash or can do a wire transfer through Western Union. These are some of the ways we keep our costs down and can sell lower priced horses.
All of our horses get ridden extensively on the trails and in the arena but in the winter months this is alittle harder to do. We ride as weather permits. They are also clipped, bathed (seasonal) and wormed. They are grained twice a day and blanketed when necessary. We buy horses from individuals and also from auctions. If you have a horse you would like to trade in on one of ours, we will allow you a fair price on it. If you don't see what you are looking for........ask, we may have not gotten around to putting it on our site.
Who we are.................John and Missy have been married for 23 years. John use to contest, but is happy now just watching over the rail. He enjoys training ponies to work and pull. He and Josh pull ponies occasionally. Missy has been running barrel horses for over 20 years. She has been running the rodeo circuit for the past five years. She also spends alot of time training barrel horses. Hannah is John and Missy's only child. She inherited her Dad's love and desire to trade horses. She always has a few good broke horses for sale. Hannah can also get the bery best from a barrel horse on his run. Josh is Missy's brother and John's side kick. He is the one who rides most of the horses and gets them ready to sell. He also runs barrels and poles. Well now that you have met us, let me tell you about our personal horses.....

1994 AQHA Buckskin Gelding
I have owned Boone since he was a weanling. He was the ugliest, pot-bellied colt ever. But look at him now. He has been running barrels since he was a 3yo and has never slowed down since. Hannah took him in 4-H several times and always won Champion Contest Horse. I have been running him on rodeo circuits for the past five years and he was the 2007 Rafter M-W Barrel Racing Champion. Everyone said he looks like he should be in front of a plow.........that's okay, plow horses deserve respect too. I purchased Cinnamon as a 4-year-old for $200. That has been many many years ago. She is pushing 30-years-old now and even though she has been retired for several years, she can still turn a barrel and run a good set of poles. Cinnamon was the most consistant 21 second pole horse around. Josh took her to Ohio State Fair every time eligible. She never came away from the county fair without the Grand Champion Contest trophy. This mare has more heart and try than anything we have ever owned. She will be buried beside Boone when the time comes. This picture was taken in October 2008.

2007 GRADE QUARTER GELDING
This is the smartest and easy colt I've ever had the pleasure of training and owning. Right from the start this colt rode like a pro. I bought him out of the loose pen at Sugarcreek and was the best money Ive spend in a long time. Super w-t-c. Ride him anywhere and everywhere without fuss. Very willing and has the brains of a genius. Show him something once and he will never forget it. Ive ridden him on roads with log trucks flying by and he will never raise an ear. Ive ponied horses off him, dragged barrels behind him, ride him alone and in crowds of horses.. He looks like a keeper..........NOT FOR SALE.

Jimmie is a Haflinger gelding we bought several years ago at the Mt. Hope Auction. Out of all the hundreds of pulling ponies that has come and gone around here, he is the only one that will live out his days at our home. This gelding has all the try in the world and has trained more ponies to pull than I could count. I saw him and a mate cross 6500# one night....one of the concrete blocks even fell off the front of the sled and they pulled it over top of it. Jimmie pulled on desire and good nutrition, not being forced like many pulling ponies are today. Jimmie is blind in one eye, but it doesn't slow him down. He will die here with Cinnamon and Boone. 2000 AQHA Chestnut Gelding
"Tuff" came to our house skinny and rough coated. John bought him outside a Kentucky horse auction. He was a rodeo horse used for roping and steer wrestling. Hannah fell in love with Tuff's quickness and agility. He could spin you right out of the saddle at top speed. Hannah trained Tuff to run barrels and poles. Tuff hs been sold to Kenny and Chip Nicholson of Pa. Thanks guys!

Check out this WOWbred.....oops, I mean cowbred gelding. A grandson of the super horse SMART CHIC OLENA and also a great grandson of PEPPY SAN BADGER, SMART LITTLE LENA, and LADY BUG'S MOON. His bloodlines trace back to Gay Bar King, Poco Tivio, and Poco Bueno too. Standing only 14.2 hands and built like a tank. Very big hips and wide chest, gorgeous little head with alot of jaw.
