My steam and other things

Some day I might grow up, like coffee, and do normal adult things--but I doubt it!!

Jensen model 15 generator

This is my Jensen model 15 generator, with cast iron base and horseshoe magnet.  When this is hooked up to an engine it creates ellectricty that lights the bulb.  It's my understanding they produced these from1935-50 with a horseshoe magnet, 1951 a solid magnet, and 1952--present a three piece magnet.  The base is now aluminum which is suppose to make a better ground.

Empire Water Pump

This is an Empire Water pump No. 50 that when it is hooked up to an engine actually pumps water.    I know it looks a little rough, but boy can it pump water, and the way it's set up it just keeps using the same water.  The water comes out of the pump spout and falls into the trough in front and then goes underneath the unit to be pumped again.  It has a bronze pump, brass piston, cast balance wheel, machined drive pulley, and is about six and a half inches in diameter and four and a half inches tall .
