Long ago in the Tavnazian Penninsula a large city thrived until one dreadful day. A group of Beastmen no longer wanted the Penninsula to connect to the continent of Quon. They devised a plan to destroy this area with a large explosion. Unfortunelty when this Penninsula was blown up it broke up in to small group of islands known as an Archipelago and the great city that had once thrived was destroyed. All those that had found refuge in Tavnazia were killed, leaving a city of ruin. It was just so fortunate that one young man was out fishing on his boat during this dreadful event and was the only one to survive. When he returned to Tavnazia he found his homeland, the one place he truly loved, destroyed. He ran as fast as he could to his home to find it toppled with his wife dead inside. He heard a cry and his spirits rose, his baby son had some how survived. The young man knew that if his child stayed here his life would be a terrible one filled with only terror and fear. He brought is child to the shore and put him on a small fishing boat. Then the father wrote a note asking for help and explaining the situation which he then inserted into bottle and placed it in the boat. He gave his child a last farewell kiss before giving the boat a swift push out to sea and slowly watched his son float away into the sunset...
Fifteen Years Later in The Small Village of Kazham...
"I rrreally think it's time I tell him the trrruth" said Vhagna "I mean he's 16 now and he still think I'm his rrrreal mother"
"Why not just wait and see if he can figure it out himself?" said Zhagan "No, that would take too long, I mean why would he even suspect that he's adopted." said Vhagna "Would you like me to stay herrre when you tell him?" said Zhagan "Yes, that would be nice, I'll need all the help I can get."
"Hey mom, hey Zhagnan." Hello honey, we need to talk." "Yea?, What's up mom?" "I have something verrry serrrious to tell you, have you ever notice that you don't look like anyone else on the island?" "Yea, but that's just because I'm a special gift from Altana, I mean isn't that what you've always told me?" "I'm afrrraid I havn't been completly honest with you Bubba." " What, what do you mean, mom?""I'm afraid I'm not rrreally your mother at all." "What!, What are you talking about, of course you are my mom" "I neverrr told you this but fifteen years ago I found you out at the cove in a fishing boat stuck on a rrrock." "Wait, I don't understand, are you trying to tell me you just found me and took me in as your own?" "Yes sweetie, that's exactly what it is."

"No, I hate you, I don't kow why I ever told you I loved you, I'm leaving to find my real parents!" " You can't!" " What do you mean I can't, of course I can and you can't stop me from it" " Bubba, listen to me!" "No, I'm sick of listening to you, I'm leaving now!" "Your parrrents arrre dead!" "Wha-What do you mean they are dead? They can't be dead, they are my parents!" "Your fatherrr sent you herrre on a boat to save you, it was so you could live a good life not filled with worrries or fearrr."

"I'm so sorrry Vhagna " "No, I'm the one that should be sorrry"
"You know how I can get to the mainland?" "I'm afraid the airship is the only way, but you're too young to rrride one of those, you must be 20 and you have to have 200 gil." " Well do you think I can borrow some gil from you?" "No, and I even if I did lend you some you are just too young, the man at the gate would never let you through." "Ok, thanks for the help, m'am, I guess I'll just have to wait until I'm older to head to the big cities." "I guess so."
Hmmm, so I'm too young, I guess I will have to find another way on instead of going through the gates.
