Encourage Your Own Self!!!

Good day to each of you! The message I have for you on this day is simple…Encourage Yourself! You see, there will not be people in your corner cheering for you at all times. A day will come when you will look up and you will be there alone and it may be one of the darkest times of your life but there ought to be something on the inside of you to tell you, “Hold on, wait a minute! Am I surrendering? Am I throwing myself a pity party? I am a child of the Most High God. The devil is a liar!” You have to refuse to give up because GOD is present (right now) help!
If you have never heard Encourage Yourself by Donald Lawrence and the Tri-City Singers, you need to play that song for yourself! Sometimes your family and friends will be dealing with their own issues and you’re gonna have to go this one alone. In those times be of good cheer. GOD will never leave us nor will HE forsake us! Greater is HE that is in you! All you have to cling to is the word of GOD and if you are going to make it through this you’re gonna have to believe the word of GOD and believe everything HE has said about you! You are the head and not the tail, you are a lender and not a borrower, you’re blessed when you come and when you go! Hallelujah, I hope someone is grabbing on to this!
When people leave you, don’t be mad at them; they’re doing what people do…change! I had to learn that for myself. Don’t get me wrong, I know it hurt, I know it wasn’t fair, I know you didn’t create those children by yourself. There is no quick fix; you have to go through the process. If someone left you that’s their right as a human being, as an individual (and I don’t know why GOD has me going this way) but let them go! The time that you all shared together was just that shared…the past. You have to move on!!! Someone is out there still mourning over a relationship that’s been over 5 – 10+ years; let it go. What you don’t even realize is your life has been better since they left but you’re so caught up in the past you don’t even realize how good you have it right now. If you believe the word of GOD, it says that your latter will be better than your former. You can’t get to your better because you’re still holding on and re-living the former.
Dust yourself off, get your hair done, start wearing your make-up again, start taking care of yourself again, go back to school, and treat yourself to a dinner and a movie….invest in yourself. It doesn’t matter what negative word man has said; all that matters is what GOD has said. You’re more than a conqueror! Encourage yourself in the Lord and strive for all that GOD wants to give you. Speak over yourself, encourage yourself in the Lord!
