| In 1970 my father bought me my first pack of cards. In 2002, I did the same for my two sons. In between Ive collected sets, stars, and autographs without any real focus. Once my sons became interested in collecting, I decided to focus on 3 projects that I never completed. In 1985, I started to get the entire 1985 Topps set autographed. Luckily, many of the stars of that era would do autograph shows for considerable less then they do today. I completed the set in the Spring of 2007. Around the same time I looked at all of the Mets autographs that I had collected over the previous 20 years. I wanted to try to get an autograph on every Topps card that pictured a New York Met. I stopped trying to get these cards signed after the 1990 set. From 1962 through 1990 Topps issued 971 cards that featured Mets. Today I need 26 more autographed cards to have them all. I still want to get all the Topps Mets cards from 1991 to today, but they are not as important as the 62-90 players. In total, there are 1,410 cards that could be autographed from 1962 - 2007. I need less then 135 more to have them all signed. Four years ago I started to collect signed retro cards. Here are the sets I'm working on. 2001 - 2007 Topps Heritage 2004 Topps Cracker Jack 2004 Bowman Heritage Finally 3 years ago, I decided to collect one card of every Baseball Hall of Famer. Sounds easy enough, but I only want to use one card from any set. That makes it more difficult, and almost impossible to put a wantlist together. Over forty of the cards I have are autographed. I need less then 30 more players. If you see something I have to trade on my havelist, but dont have anything for me from my wantlist, send me an email anyway.
