Billing for the service will be included in the normal bfone bill. The billing cycle shall be same as bfone billing cycle. Monthly rentals and usage charges will be billed in arrears.
Modem on Outright purchase
It is decided to offer different types of modems on outright purchase basis to Dataone customers. Different options are given below:

It is also clarified that only Type I modem may be given on rental at present.
Conditions for providing Home plan or Business plan
|
1. |
Either Plan can be offered to subscribers having telephones in individual names working at homes/residences used for personal purpose. |
|
2. |
Subscribers having telephones in the name of Company, firms, shops, educational institutes or any other commercial entity can be given only Business Plan. They are not eligible for Home Plan. |
|
3. |
Telephones working in individual names at commercial/ business/ office premises are also not entitled for Home Plans. |
|
4. |
Home plan can be given on bfones in the name of Government/company but actually working at residences of their employees. An undertaking may be taken from the customer before providing the said connection. |
Registration Fees
In order to discourage fake booking for broadband connection a registration fee of Rs. 100 may be charged.
Change of plan
The change of plan to Home 250 and Business 700 may be allowed with effect from 1st Sept., 2005.
Excess Security Deposit & Requirement of mandate
| 1. | All the excess security deposits may be adjusted in next bill on request of the customer. |
| 2. | A mandate is required from all Broadband customers, for adjustment of BSNL dues from security deposit of fixed lines etc. |
Waiver of Installation charges
Installation charges of Rs. 250 are waived off for all new broadband customers between
16th August 2005 and 30th September 2005.
The above tariff will be valid until 31/03/2006.
