Mrs. Schebler's Literature Class

Mrs. Schebler's 10th Grade Literature/Composition Class  

Course Description: This course is designed to integrate the study of World literature, grammar, vocabulary, and writing. We will focus on the writing process, current research materials, oral and written response to literature, vocabulary study, and grammatical skills based on the Georgia Performance Standards.

Grading Policy:                       Full year students

          Formal Grades                  60%                      A=100-90

          Informal Grades                25%                      B=89-80

          Final Exam/EOCT              15%                      C=79-70

          Formative                        0%                        F=69 and below

Recovery Policy: Students may recover any major assessment that they have previously attempted. In order to be eligible to recover a major grade, the student must submit a written request to Mrs. Schebler, schedule tutoring sessions and complete any practice assignments that the teacher deems necessary.
