The weather is to be sunny and 72 degree with a slight southerly breeze. Cost for summer camp will be $200 if paid before May 1st, $210 after May 1st,  if you want we could do another meat sell to help pay for camp (or any fund raiser we can come up with), and if camperships works like in years past the cost may be as little as $105.

Letter from Scout leader

THANKS AGAIN TO THOSE THAT ARE HELPING RUN OUR TROOP ,(SCOUTS AND LEADERS) AND THOSE OF YOU THAT ARE NOT WE NEED YOU! THE 80/20 RULE HAS HIT OUR TROOP VERY SEVERELY.
20% OF THE PEOPLE (SCOUTS AND LEADERS) ARE DOING 80% OF THE WORK! WE MUST GET MORE PEOPLE PULLING PART OF THE LOAD OR THAT 20% IS GOING TO GET TIRED AND STOP PULLING.

A STRONG Troop should be ran by the OLDER boys of the Troop, and Should have the FATHERS of the boys in the Troop being the ones that are helping the Boys to grow and learn.

WE HAVE ONLY A FEW DADS HELPING AND ONLY A FEW STRONG OLDER SCOUTS. I THINK THERE IS A CONNECTION HERE SOMEWHERE.THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE AND WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN. SHOW UP, GO ON THE TRIP, SHARE WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED, IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO!

SCOUTING IS A GREAT PROGRAM BUT YOU HAVE TO PUT INTO IT TO GET ANYTHING OUT OF IT!
Thanks,
MIKE

MEETING INFO

There are Troop Meetings EVERY Monday night with very few exceptions, please plan to be there. This is where you get the information you need for upcoming events. If you have a question about if there is a meeting or not, call your patrol leader. Dues are $1.00 per meeting. Please bring your handbooks to each meeting. This is the main record of your achievements. Please make sure to ask a registered scout adult to sign your book when you complete a requirement. Remember to wear your scout uniform to ALL scout meetings and events.

Whether in uniform or not in uniform, be sure that you practice the scout law and the scout oath in your everyday life. You are not only representing yourself but also worldwide organization. Please remember and act accordingly.

BE COURTEOUS!!! The Church building is on loan to us. We must treat the building and other people who are meeting there with respect. No yelling and hollering in the hallways. If you turn a light on, turn it off, etc.
                                   ATTENTION ADULTS

ADULTS-we need your help. The more adults that can attend the meetings means that more activities can be planned. Even though the boys plan the activities, the adults must be present to serve as supervisors. If you can help with anything (large or small) please contact Scoutmaster Kyle Gillespie or an assistant scoutmaster. Who knows, you might just have a LITTLE FUN yourself.

Thank you Dr. Chen!

Boy Scout Troop 200 members, leaders, and parents would like to thank Dr. Alan Chen, M.D. for many years of free Scout Physicals. The physicals are a necessary component for attending Boy Scout Camp each year.
