Welcome To the Home of Troop 117
Troop 117 - Boy Scouts of America from Jasper, Alabama in Walker County, U.S.A. This Troop is striving to be a High Adventure Troop with around 25 current scouts and very dedicated adult leadership. The Scoutmaster is Dr. John Odle, Eagle Scout 1982. The Troop is sponsored by the historic and beautiful First Methodist Church of Jasper, AL and is the oldest continuously chartered Troop in the State of Alabama. The original charter was issued in 1926. We meet at Jasper FUMC youth center on Monday night from 7pm until...every week except the Monday following a weekend outing. Visitors are always welcome and new or potential scouts are always invited to join us and see what we do. Jasper FUMC youth center is located across the alley from the church at 1800 3rd Ave. |
