Dbl Gr Ch Sharada Velvet Slippers
(aka Miss Peru)

I fell in love with Peru the day I met her as she climbed onto my lap and took off my glasses with her lovely white paws - she is a girl who knows what she wants and will do whatever she can to get it! (point proven when she arranged a liasion with a young six month old boy resulting in a litter of five kittens) She had done well on the bench throughout 2006 including Best Exhibit in Group One at the Kitten Show early in the year. These days Peru leaves all that show business to the youngsters and we are hoping for a litter from her late 2008 but in the meanwhile she is my husband's 'lapcat' and is very good at it.
23.9.08 Miss Peru has lost her bikini body following a dalliance with hunky blue boy Billy (Gd Ch Sharada Dream Come True) Thanks to Anne at Shakandah Birmans for allowing me to use this gorgeous boy and for supplying his photo.

Ch Sharada Peruvian Slippers
(Isis)

Peru's blue daughter, Isis, presented me with a pidgeon pair, the first Brynler birmans and has now gone to live with a good friend and her family where she is loved to pieces and shares her home with another birman and a pretty torti domestic. She is very happy and I have full visiting rights.
Gold Ch Dejavu Miss Molly
(Molly)

Due to Heather's retirement from breeding Molly came to us along with her lovely litter of four (to Sil Ch Dejavu Hershey) and what a gift they proved to be; Molly became a Gold Ch at the Birman Club Show in May 2008 and will remain here for one final litter before auditioning for her purrever home. She is a sweet girl and extra special as she was bred by Deb Raus (RIP), Dejavu Birmans, who was Heather's close friend and breeding partner. I like to think that Deb would be pleased that Molly is helping me along in the world of birmans and I am grateful to Heather for entrusting her to me.
Billy (see above) has been a very busy boy having also entertained Molly only recently. Too early for news yet but all paws are crossed here.
Brynler Miss Miley Milo
(Miley)
(Sire: Sil Ch Dejavu Hershey Dam: Gold Ch Dejavu Miss Molly)
We have hopes for the future from this young chocolate girl who recently made her show debute displaying her lovely eye color and her very best attitude. A lovely typey baby Miley will be retained here when her mummy Molly retires. She enjoyed her first show experience, had many good comments about her (and a number of people wanting to take her home with them!) and we hope she does well on the bench. Miley is half sister to Inca and Maya.
fun update 23.9.08
Miley spent last Thursday at the Royal Melbourne Show as part of the a breeder exhibition; a chance for people to meet n greet various breeds and learn about cats and responsible pet ownership in general. Though only a little kid still she handled all the attention (believe me there was lots of it!) and won quite a few hearts on the day. She is trying to overtake big sister Inca as being the best PR birman and I am sure she smiled when given the People's Choice Award on the day
(here is she in a rare resting moment in her cage...the Princess crown is a bit of a joke as I haven't been able to find one which reads 'Brat!)
