However, both sites should prove interesting enough, and at least there's music, too.

"THE FALLING LEAVES..." (As the years steadily pass by...) by Bryan Dye, author
SO FAR I've had an interesting, colorful life. I sought new adventures and opportunities so I've done such diverse things as: been in movies like "Bring It On!" and others (extras work); written, produced shows/ads and some acting on television and amateur movies; starred as a HS and college baseball player-tried out with several pro teams, and later, received National Recognition as high school Wrestling Coach --same 2 years lauded as area's Outstanding Teacher (Calumet High School, Gary, Indiana)...moving to California, I even became an assistant pastor in the UCC but after being accepted into seminary, gave up when couldnt get financed.
AT THIS TIME, I write professionally part time for newspapers, magazines and an encyclopendia publisher, recently became a published author, and hoping to expand on that; also tutor and teach in several institutional (not MENTAL institutions) settings/colleges.
In 2006, I wrote one "doggy" book (go to: www.freewebs.com/bryandye) as well as co-authored two 14-book volumes of United States History and Biographies of Famous Americans (sounds dull & boring;I guarantee it's NOT!)
Been an English teacher and writer most of my adult life. Writing afforded me such opportunities as travelling with the world famous Harlem Globetrotters (what a trip through the midwest!!), writing publicity for John Cougar Mellencamp (before he was famous)..and more. "BACK IN THE DAY"....
Been able to meet many famous people...I once met Muhammad Ali, when I was 18. He looked at me quizzically from up in the ring after we chatted during a training exhibition and said to me, "YOU NOT AS DUMB AS YOU LOOK, KID."
(At left, current photo with Bridget, taken fall, 2005)..
......(Here, mug shot. I look 'grouchy' but it's just squinting from the sun; taken in 2003-- photos showing my goatee are current)
I Have also boxed in IU golden gloves and 2 pro hack fights; taken martial arts training, managed a Country music TV show, won two amateur film festivals, and performed professional standup comedy in Chicago, Calumet City, IL. ..... Played the main character in two San Diego county television commercials (stuffed my cheeks, powdered my hair, etc.) as "Don Vito Corleone"....selling coins, and transmissions (can you picture the Don really doing that?)
I've managed/coached baseball and softball teams for 20 yrs or more...helped run/administrate a professional baseball camp for kids in San Diego.
Was married briefly years ago until she (what's her name?)ran off with a high school friend. I wanted to find him and thank him... The girlfriends used to come and go...had one real serious love-of-my life long time ago in Indiana. I think I drove Connie crazy and she left me after 4 1/2 years. I was only mid-20s and realize that most of us MALES don't mature, if at all, until 30-something. Glad to say I've changed...maturity?
What can I say? Sometimes I feel like a legend...at least, a "Legend in my own Mind"..lol
And sometimes I feel like I'm actually a Parade...but a "parade all by myself"...
Passions include my (now there's) SIX furry, tail-wagging children: Bridget, my chow/lab; Tara, a chow/sheperd; and Nikki, a lab/something..and now "Outlaw Josie Wales", a little whitish terrier/bichon frise or something--oops, also Lilly, Rhodesian Ridgeback, abused and abandoned, found by me. ( All except Bridget were adorable strays we picked up) ..my kids in 'fur coats' ...after I was almost finished writing my book about it, OSCAR the Chihuahua wandered into my house, and announced he's "staying permanently!"....also, I love movies (I own a collection of approx. 500)and sports, still playing softball, lifting weights despite being maybe over-the-hill...
I'm purposely vague about my NEAR 40-ish age....probably because of the stigma attached to numbers if ONE isn't a Rock Star, a millionaire, or Brad Pittish-looking.
Personality: usually outgoing, friendly, articulate and hilariously funny (if I do say so myself, although EVERYONE thinks they have a sense of humor
)..., extremely sexy (as I remember it)and open minded; caring and compassionate, deeply spiritual and philosophical, but not in the organized religious sense (I'm fed up with that hypocrisy!). I do admit to being moody, introspective at times. Very creative, have dabbled also in crafts, paintings, jewelry and Native American art (I'm a Russian hillbilly by ancestry though-which does NOT mean I tote a rifle while barefoot & guzzle vodka).
I'm 5-11, broad shouldered, masculine and kinda boyish-rugged looking...some ladies have said that with my goatee and 'stache I look like a "biker" (Goatee not shown in pics)...very stocky/muscular at this time, but I plan to go back to jogging...
I'm very open, upfront and honest...I require the same, which explains why no recent serious relationships in my life. Also, I'm extremely selective and particular...not necessarily looking for committed or just playtime...but a very attractive, sweet and honest women is in there somewhere!! Relationships should flow naturally, never forced from desperation, and evolve mutually.
My neighbor lady whistles at me often, she says I 'have a great butt', but then, I admit she's 87 years old.
Currently, I reside in California's armpit --Hemet, CA, after living in beautiful, friendly but too-expensive San Diego county. This confirms my belief I was cursed by Gypsies.
