Welcome to Brush Bustin Kennels online. The home of hounds that were "Bred To Hunt". If you're looking for a dog with papers you are in the wrong place. I firmly believe the line of hounds at my kennel is every rabbit hunters dream. I'm in the sport of beagling for the thrill of the chase and to make memories in the field because in my eyes that is what it is all about.  I am in this sport as a rabbit hunter and the facts are "Papers don't run a rabbit".  I was raised around beagles and have owned them my whole life. I have traveled near and far to compete, meet other beaglers and enjoy the sport. This past winter me and my hounds hosted a camcorded hunt by Outdoors Insights television who has many hunts shown on the pursuit channel. I breed for a hard hitting hound that runs the front of the pack and has a ton of hunt. From November to February my hounds are gunned over very hard. In  the past three seasons we have shot 417 rabbits in front of my hounds. I believe I have some of the hardest hitting gun dogs around and have put them down with a lot of proven hounds and they have gotten the job done. There is no off season here, we hunt hard during season and do a lot of running and training when season is out.  Along the way I have ran with beaglers from all over the state of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan,  Kentucky, West Virginia, Maryland, and Georgia. The RESULTS of the hard work I put into my hounds and the hounds I train and condition shows. I have had the opportunity to hunt with some great hounds and very special people in my life and I take these memories with me forever.
