Sunday 16th July

Teesside Steelers 35 v Ideal Isberg ARLFC 14

A long trip to Hull, but it was worth it.

We came away with a great victory, travelling to the heart of Rugby League and beating them at their own game.

The game was played over 4 x 20 minute quarters because of the heat. The lads of both teams working very hard in temperatures close to 30c.

A good game well contested. Steelers doing extremely well with just 14 players.

Ideal battled hard, and had us defending for long spells but found it hard to break through.

Peter Evans was awarded a MOM trophy by Isbergs coaches.

Unfortunately Matty Stringer was unable to be on the team photo below after the game, because of a bang to the head. We hope your ok soon Matty, see you at training Wednesday.

Great tackling and a great team spirit won it for us on the day.

Well done lads.

Unfortunatey Naz also took a nasty blow to the head, which left him with this permanent stupid grin.

Sunday 25th June Teesside Steelers 66 v Durham Tigers 0

Well done lads you all played really well.

Thank you to the lads who volunteered to play for Tigers.

Houghton Festival 30th April

I think we all had a great day out lads. Very disappointing though, just one point stopping us getting to the final.

Nilled Sunderland, nilled Workington, nilled Malton and Norton, lost 8 -7 to Yarnbury and drew nil nil with Percy Park.

You played some great stuff and we are proud of you.

Training as usual on Wednesday, for Rugby League.

We need everyone down. We are doing the vote for players 'player of the year' for presentation evening on Friday.

I still need dinner money from a couple of you!!

Sunday 23rd April

Billingham 39 Sunderland 7

Well done lads. A good win to end the season.

Houghton Festival next Sunday, everyone must come to training on Wednesday.

If you have reserved a place with me but not yet paid, then bring money in on Wed.

I cannot guaranty your place after Wed if you have not paid. The U15s are after our spare places.

Easter Sunday 16th April
