Bruce Sikes is a nationally recognized Fencing Instructor, former Federal Police Officer, Pilot, and is an Ordained Minister. He has received numerous awards and honors for public service and holds degrees in Criminal Justice, Liberal Arts and Seminary.

As a Fencing Instructor, Bruce has taught and fenced in Europe, Asia and throughout the U.S..  He currently teaches Olympic and Historical fencing at St. Louis area universities and schools. Bruce actively competes in tournaments, qualifying in 2007 for the U.S. Men’s Saber Team for the World Veterans Championships In Sydney, Australia. Bruce is President & Founder of the Christian Fencers Association, a Sports Ministry whose major focus is to conduct free fencing camps for disadvantaged youth throughout the world, including Northern Ireland, Hungary, and Calcutta, India.

He is also a student of world and military history, regularly visiting historical castles, forts, and battlefields, including military museums and collections throughout the world. Bruce conducts educational living history presentations and demonstrations of period dress, culture and weapons to the public, and even occasionally choreographs and performs theatrical swordplay!

His fencing endeavors are frequently featured on T.V. and newspapers. In 2007, author Bob Swope dedicated his new book, “Learning About Fencing” to Bruce citing, “…his energy, patience, and inspiration in teaching fencing to young kids and adults within a safe environment of mutual respect and self discipline.”

Bruce is an experienced traveler and enjoys diverse cultural experiences. From riding camels in the Sahara desert riding to hiking the Scottish Highlands, he has visited cities as varied as London, Paris, Seville, Moscow, Casablanca, Budapest, Delhi, Monte Carlo, and Athens.  

As an Ordained Minister, Reverend Bruce Sikes has served St. Louis area churches as Education Director and in the fields of Church Growth, Youth,  Outreach including 12 years as Associate Pastor.  He has also started two inner-city churches, having been interviewed in 1996 by Time Magazine for his mission work. Bruce is Founder and Director of Voice Of The Remnant Ministries, and is currently engaged in public speaking, writing, teaching classes, and counseling. Particular areas of interest for him are Church and State issues.

 Bruce resides with his wife Pam in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A..
