RICHMOND MUST WIN THIS WEEK 19/4/07

This weeks match against the Western Bulldogs is possibly Richmond's biggest game in the past 2 years. Richmond must win this week. It is vital. Richmond have been in a winning position in the past 3 games but have not finished well. The way Richmond have been fading out is bizarre. The Tigers have been simply throwing away big oppurtunitys. We have had big names out like Simmonds, Brown and Coughlan but any good team like Sydney and West Coast can cope and win games without their stars. A few weeks ago West Coast were missing Cox and Embley and they still manged to win by a point away from home.

The questions now have to be start being asked about Richmond. Are Richmond mentally weak or are we just simply unfit?

Richmond's leadership this season has been terrible. Several players like Johnson and Bowden have not been at their best and Richo's kicking has been very average. Richo had the chance to win the game last week and he blew it. A player that has played for over 15 years and played over 250 games only manages to score 3 goals in 9 shots!

If Richmond are to lose this week it will be very tough to come back. The next month Richmond play West Coast, Geelong and Port Adelaide and Adelaide in Adelaide. Richmond could possibly be winless after 8 rounds.
