Mutants. The next stage of evolution in the world. It is the term most commonly used when random people are born with what is called the 'X-Gene', a gene that makes a normal human being into what is considered super-human. It grants beings special powers and abilities, which causes normal humans to hate and/or fear them.

Eien Kelos, a mutant of more years than he cares to announce, has grown tired and angry over the constant threat humans bring towards mutants, simply because they are different...or perhaps because they are superior. With a dream that mutants will be able to live safetly away from the threat of mankind, Eien has built the Brotherhood of Mutants. A fortress, hidden within the mountains, where mutants of all kinds can come and feel safe from humans, and can learn to control their special gifts. To the humans, the Brotherhood is nothing more than a Club by the mountains known simply as 'The Club'. (Better name will come when I think of one.)

With the help of Fallon, a fellow mutant, and to him, a whole lot more, Eien has created a home where mutants can come from all over and at last feel at peace, safe from the outside world, until it is ready to accept their kind.
