New Season, New Start!
With Roger Young stepping down as manager after 8years in charge David Tylor has the job of taking Broomhill Football Club another step forward. Johnny Forde and Andy Forde have been given the responibility of helping Davy with training duties. Everyone in and around the club wish him all the best in his new role and understand the difficult task of managing a football club at such a tender age. The players are behind him though and promise to do all they can to ensure Broomhill can progress as a club both on and off the field and pick up a trophy as they know they can!
New influx of players but sadly some departures!
With Roger Young resigning as manager a few players have unfortuantly also decided to call it a day on their broomhill carrers. Lee Winter has left to help with the coaching at Armagh Blues and Jason Loney and Kyle McMullan have followed revealing a new challenge was needed. On the plus side the new management team have worked hard to recruit some new players to the squad list. They have also managed to keep some important players at the club who felt that maybe they to needed a new challenge. Ryan and Jason Harper have both arrived from Annagh United to help the cause along with some other excellent signing in Ryan Lynas and George Calvin. They have also got Philly Baird to put pen to paper to challenge for the number one spot. With the season drawing closer the disappointment of losing a few players has been overshadowed by capturing these new ones. With a few other players being linked with the club the team can beleive that they are not far away from being a side capable of pushing for trophies.
