Broadland 6 Harleston Magpies III 1
Kelly Duthie slammed home a loose ball at Broadland's first penalty corner to put the home side in front. Harleston Magpies who started brightly enough but never looked comfortable at he back fell further behind as Broadland's quick fire forward line created the space and time for midfield player Danni Pointer to drive in and slam the ball passed the exposed away keeper. Harleston Magpies hit back through Lucy Chubbock who slipped her marker and fired in by Helen Handley, the Broadland Keeper, left hand. Before Harleston Magpies had time to build on this life line Broadland regained their advantage when Lydia Lawrence grabbed the the first of a brace of goals just before and then again immediately after the restart. As Broadland pressed forward and with Tracey Buxton their quicksilver centre forward a continual thorn in the Harleston Magpies side they were limited to opportunities on the break. Broadland's defence marshalled by the evergreen Ruth Aldous never looked seriously threatened. Broadland put the result beyond doubt with a penalty corner special from Carre Mills and then a second goal from Danni Pointer Broadland's star player who finished off a sweeping move with great aplomb, a move which had carved harleston Magpies up and taken Broadland from one of the pitch to the other.
Division 3
Broadland II 2 Harleston Magpies IV 1
Broadland and Harleston Magpies matched each other blow for blow until Broadland's effervescent Danni Parke latched on to a through ball from Emma Gibb and fire in by the post. Nicki Richards popped up by the far post to finish off another great effort from Danni Parke to increase Broadland's grip on the game.. Harleston however, hit back through Laura Gilbert and in a desperate last few minutes or so could have grabbed a share of the points.

Watton II 2 - Broadland 4
Although Broadland pressurised the home goal in the first half and had numerous penalty corner opportunities it was Watton II who held the advantage at the break leading by 2 goals to nil from a penalty corner and a well constructed goal from open play.
Helen Brockington's strike within a few minutes of the restart turned the game on its head. As Broadland grew in confidence Watton visible wilted. Tracey Buxton taking advantage of nerves in the Watton defence scrambled the ball in to equalize and then put Broadland ahead when she intercepted a desperate clearance and fired in from 5 metres. Danni Pointer increased Broadland's grip on the game when she pounced on clearance that came off a defenders foot and taking good use of the advantage given cooly slotted in Broadland's fourth goal

Old Buckenham II 4 Broadland II 4
Fran Halstead gave Old Buckenham II an early lead but Broadland deservedly equalised through Danni Parke.
and then went ahead through a Becky Savoury effort.
Liz Shaw equalized before the break and then went ahead immediately after the restart as Broadland were caught cold as Fran Halstead fired in by the post.
Martina Rothe on her league debut got on to a fine cross from the right to beat the home keeper all ends up only to see Liz Shaw stride through Broadland’s defence to hammer in an unstoppable shot seconds later. Danni Parke missed a penalty stroke but made amends when she fired in to tie the game.

Friendlies
North Walsham II 0 Broadland 5
Premier league Broadland were too strong for an experimental North Walsham 2nd team. Broadland with only 9 outfield players but fielding a very experienced XI after last weeks mauling by Watton II dominated from the start and opened their account when Lyndsey Aldous skipped through and placed the ball under the home keepers body. Tracey Buxton deflected shot went high over the keeper to double Broadland's lead. North Walsham responded well but were contained by the stubborn Broadland rearguard. Helen Brockington flicked the ball over the outstretched keepers body for her first goal of the season as Broadland's dynamic forward line buzzed around the circle. Tracey Buxton finished off by the far post following a move from Broadland which took the ball from one end of the pitch to the other and then at the end completed her hat- trick as she hammered the ball into the roof of the net passed the bemused home keeper to complete the rout.
Broadland II 0 Old Buckenham II 0
Broadland's inexperienced team of regulars and newcomers to the club and game dominated this friendly to such an extent that Danni Parke Broadland's top goal scorer last season playing as a stand-in goalkeeper touched the ball less than a handful of times during the whole of the game. Becky Savoury was on fine form, but even she as Broadland's best player last season could not penetrate the Old Buckenham defence as Broadland squandered a number of good scoring opportunities towards the end of the game.
