                After-Phoenix Withdrawals

Oh no! Not again!

Now I'm suffering from After-Phoenix-Art-Exhibition Withdrawals.

A friend and I held an art exhibition as a way of raising money for the Victorian bushfire appeal. We had a wonderful venue donated to us for free for eight days at La Trobe University in Beechworth.

We set up our Phoenix Exhibition and were astounded to have more than 400 people go through during those eight days. We raised $1100 which we split in half and donated to the local Beechworth Urban and Beechworth Rural Fire Brigades.

It was a wonderful week. Heaps of work for the two of us, but very rewarding.

Now, once again, it's back to all things domestic. My writing has been non-existent over that time. So has my blogging. The only thing I did manage to keep up with is my editing commitments.

Not to worry, everything's back to normal now... Hmmmm, I think I've heard that somewhere before...
