    It is a hard life when our dogs have the run of the house !! 

Welcome to Britma's.  The name Britma came from combining my two childrens' name Brit and Matt.  My dogs are strictly at my home and work and I have them for the pleasure of being with dogs.  I do not have a 'kennel' as such, but raise my dogs in my home.  I have always wanted to be involved in breeding and showing dogs and now my dream is coming true.  Years ago, I bred cocker spaniel puppies and then my business life got too busy and I wasn't able to continue to breed dogs.  I now have the time I need to spend to raise puppies.  I am strictly involved in Goldens and Cockers for the pleasure of it and to better the breed. 

I am a member of the Canadian Kennel Club and all puppies will be sold with a written guarantee towards health and temperment.  The puppies that are sold as pets will be sold on a non-breeding agreement.

Amber came from Chrys-Haefen kennels in Scotland, Ontario and she was bred to a Canadian Champion from the same kennel.  Amber has produced beautiful puppies and I have kept one of her puppies, Angel, that I will be breeding in the future.  I now have my own male dog, Shiloh, who is currently being shown for his championship and he will be the stud I use.  Shiloh stays at my parents and he is also from Chrys-Haefen kennels.  Chrys-Haefen has been absolutely terrrific in helping me with understanding bloodlines and helping me to improve the breed.

Kylee came from Denzil Thorpe in Lambeth.  He is now retired from breeding, but I wanted to continue on his wonderful bloodlines.  This dog will be bred sometime in the future. 

I am most concerned about producing dogs true to the breed and have great temperaments.
