Foster homes make Rescue possible!
Many rescue groups, including Bristol County Rabbit Rescue, depend upon the kind generosity of volunteers who house the homeless rabbits within the program. These volunteers are known as Foster Care Providers and the housing they provide is known as Foster Homes.
If you are interested in becoming a Foster Care Provider, please submit the form below
Points to concider, if interested in becoming a Foster Care Provider:
1) You will be provided with a cage and accesories
2) You will be provided with a pelleted food supply, however it would be extremley helpful if you purchased all pelleted food when this supply runs out.
3) If you purchase extra supplies used for the rabbit's care, you can receive a tax deduction form in the total purchase amount. You must save receipts to do this.
4) You must be willing to allow prospective adopters' to contact you via phone and/or e-mail and meet the rabbit within your home. You may schedule interviews based upon your availability.
5) Foster Care Providers are not paid for the duties they preform. This is a volunteer only position.
***** Bristol County Rabbit Rescue is in need of new foster homes at this time. For each foster home we recruite, one more life can be saved. Sadly, we receive over a dozen calls regarding abuse and surrender each day. Even more sadly, we are forced to turn away many rabbits in real need due to the fact we have nowhere to place them. If you have a few square feet of extra space within your home, a few hours of free time per day, and have a big heart and love for bunnies, please consider joining our foster network! *******
