Brigitte in the twilled commando outfit with a black eye patch, a red scarf worn around the neck, and a cap made out of fox fur, and looking just so cool, charismatic and adorable… that was the main drawn ticket for me to “Golden Queens Commando”. In here, she plays Black Fox, a well-known commando with a list of crimes on her resume who purposely let herself be arrested. In jail, she wrecked up quite a commotion and cunning caused 6 other female prisoners to be incarcerated (along with herself) separately in the black hole dungeon. Her reason for doing all of this? Well, each of these 6 prisoners has a specialty. They include Cat (Elsa Yeung), a sharpshooter – Dynamite (Sally Yeh), an explosives expert – Quick Silver (Silvia Pang), a quick-handed thief - Brandy (Hilda Lau), a samurai swordswoman - Sugar (Sophia Ching), a prostitute with scenting skill – and Amazon (Teresa Tsui), a warrior with enormous strength. Brigitte has done research on them and wanted their help to destroy a dangerous chemical plant, set up by an evil warlord (Leung Sau Keung) – thus her plan of being imprisoned and getting the gang out of jail after they were all put together in the black hold dungeon.
After a successful escape, the 7 of them set out for the chemical plant. During their journey, they encountered a local fort leader, a clumsy, silly but goodhearted guy (Hui Bat Liu). They befriended him and he eventually followed the group after his fort was wiped out by the soldiers. Some other twists to the story include the competitive, discontent Elsa Yeung always wanting to challenge Brigitte out for Brigitte's leader position, and Sophia Ching being a spy who betrayed the group later on (and got caught doing so).
By the time they reached the chemical plant and met up with the warlord, about half of the group already got killed. The rest (including Brigitte) also died after they managed to destroy the plant. The ending has Hui Bat Liu carrying Brigitte in his arms, leaving the chemical plant.

Scrolling down to the below, you can probably tell by the unusual amount of screenshots I’ve made for this movie that I really like Brigitte’s image in here. Yes, she is just so darn lovely as the tough cookie Black Fox, with her black eye patch, her red scarf, and her fox-fur cap. She has that quality and poise to stand out as a group leader, plus her acting is top-notch as always. It was a lot of fun watching the early parts of the movie when Brigitte screwed everybody up in jail. I just love it every time she put on that sort-of arrogant, "don’t-mess-with-me" face and looked at people with her chin. ^-^
Although "Golden Queens Commando" is a Chinese movie, it does have a fair share of Westernize feels to it (i.e. the Western cowboy music, costumes, environment, horse-ridding scenes… etc). Brigitte herself has plenty of horse-ridding scenes in here. The sight of her on horseback, pulling the strap is really something to behold. =)
