We have just bought 33 acres and are in the process of getting building approval so life's a bit hectic at the moment! Plus we have another baby due in a week!
Our Shetland Stud consists of
Resident Stallion: Gar-Won Kane, Black, 10.1hh, 5yo
Kane will hopefully soon be leased for two years to a stud within Tas. This will allow us to take a break from breeding and break in the youngstock we are already accumulating!

Gemma: Alison's reg qh mare, 5yo Bay with star15.1hh we bought at 18months very lame as we travelled through vic with two shetlands from qld in the float and brought her home on the boat the next night. I started breaking her in at 2 1/2 yrs and stopped our daily bareback- in-a-halter- up-the-hill ride when I was 7 months pregnant with Ethan.

Peggy is a beginners horse to ride, but will pull you off the ground putting a halter on!
Our foals: we decided to get Peggy in foal when Alison was expecting Ethan, then got Gemma in foal the next year.
Both foals are by Newline Commanche, a chestnut/sorrell overo owned by J Whatley 10 minutes up the road!

Drifter is a web page all on his own!!!. His real mother is Gemma, his surrogate mother is Clancy, and the mother who feeds him is Alison. and Peggy and Jarrah are his 'paddock aunties' . When I have more time I'll put his story in.
