I have noticed a growing trend with our local wild-life in and around the Bridlington area, with certain species disappearing and others thriving.
The thing that worries me here is that no one has picked up on it, no news paper stories, no local gossip, nothing!
So what is happening here? Why are these animals declining at such an alarming rate, the seagull population on the other hand is growing ever larger and so I have reached the conclusion that it could be something to do with our feathered friends, lets face it they will eat almost anything, fish, chips, kebabs and worms so why not lions and tigers!
There are enough seagulls around come to think of it and only last week I could have sworn I saw one flying overhead with a squirrel in it's beak so why is nobody noticing?
I am aware that everyone that lives in a seaside resort can get used to everyday things going on around them, the tourists, the smells and the seagull poo but surely someone would notice that we no longer have wolves here or bears so where have they gone, I know they cannot migrate unless they are very good swimmers, so what about our indiginous rhino population?
Ah got you there haven't I!
You cannot tell me that our rhinos could simply dissappear and then blame an alien conspiracy theory cooked up by some spotty train spotter saying, "well I have this theory!" No I simply won't accept that but I warn you now, it won't take long before they get a taste for us and only then will people actually listen to me instead of pointing their greasy kebaby fingers towards me and laughing out load, I have warned you so be wary of those bloody seagulls and take extra care.
