I have an idea for a series of comedy sci-fi novels, my problem is I am not a writer.
I have developed the idea over the past six years and have tried several times to write it myself but again, I am not an author.
I am looking for a particular person to collaberate with me to develope the project, the person I am looking for would need a particular sense of humour along the lines of Douglas Adams, Rob Grant or Doug Naylor or ideally a mix of the above.
I am an ideas man so I need someone to bounce my ideas off and get it on paper.
This is completely genuine!!!
Help, it's driving me mad, this is so frustrating to think I have a really good idea but I do not have the skills or experience to turn them into a novel, the idea is sound and unique.
Without giving too much away, the first book is about a man who is totally insignificant and at 35 he still lives at home with his mother and father.
The character is dull, boring and a bit of a dreamer, he longs for some exitement and he gets more that he bargained for when due to circumstances and silly mistakes he becomes a God.
The character jumps from insignificance to omnipitance in one day, not on earth but elsewhere.
Does God make mistakes?
I was thinking of calling the first book,
"The good God guide!"
I also have some great ideas for the second book in the series.
So if you are looking for a challenge please email me.
Kind regards,
Ed.
