Bridgeway Youth Ministry

Our ministry is for grades 7 -12 (JR High School & SR High School). We have one common meeting time for both age groups on Sunday mornings (see 'Sunday Mornings' link for times) and multiple creatively blended events throughout the weeks and months of the year.

-LTD (see 'LTD' link for more details) is our SR High School group (grades 9-12)

-Envision (see 'Envision' link for more details) is our JR High School group (grades 7-8)

My philosophy of ministry - my reasoning behind every event and contact - can be summed up in five succinct points. They are as follows:

1) Love - God is love and He commands me to love Himself and all others. Everything I do in ministry should flow out of love for God and others.

2) Prayer - Jesus spent much alone time praying. I also should bathe my life and ministry in prayer.

3) Relational - Jesus left heaven to penetrate Earth's culture and form relationships with men. It is my goal as a minister to penetrate the students' culture to form relationships with them.

4) Service - God has called me to serve, just as He Himself "did not come to be served, but to serve."

5) Discipleship - I hope to leave a legacy behind. Wherever I may be, I hope to train disciples, who train disciples, who train disciples, who train...
