 This photo was taken somtime in October of 2003 by Brant Ward, photographer for the SF Chronicle. He and Kevin Fagan, staff writer for SF Chronicle, were working together covering a story on homelessness in the city of San Francisco(the story is linked to this site under the investigative efforts section of this site). Thousands of photographs were taken and this one was not featured in that story.
After seeing this photograph, I went to the Transbay Terminal(location photo was shot), located at 1st and Mission Street(s) and spoke with a group of individuals living in a nearby alley. They said they knew the lady only as "The Crier".
To date, we do not know the identidy of this woman, however, what I see in the photograph is an individual with physical characteristics resembling my sister, Bridget.
