So who is this girl calling herself the Bridal Diva? Well, Im just an average girl, like you. I live in suffolk county with my Fiance, Chris. We have been dating for 7 years and living with each other for 4 years. I am 28 and Chris is 33. We plan to marry on Columbus Day Weekend, October 2005. So far I have all my vendors set. I visited more than 25 catering halls on the island. Feel free to ask me about any catering hall, because I feel I know every one of them. My DJ, florist, and photographer/videographer and limos have all been booked.
As I incorporate more of this website, I will be posting my own unique designs. So far I plan to make my own STDs, church programs, placecards, menu's, cry packs, table numbers, and a whole bunch of other crafts. Im not the most creative person, but with a little effort anything can be done. If you have any questions or comments, you can email me at divadeluxe1114@yahoo.com or send me an FM on LIW's to Divabride. |

A popular idea on LIW's are the "We Do" Letters. They can be used to adorn the dais or to accompany the cake table. Very easy to make for beginner crafters. Just go to your local craft store, purchase the letters, 2 small sponge brushes, and craft paint. I used a shimmer pearl and a shimmer gold. I added a couple of crystals (3mm, 5mm, and 7mm) and let them dry for a day. The results came out really nice.

These are very simple to make. I simply purchased some glassine envelopes from Michaels. Folded two tissues and sealed them in the envelope. I tied the envelope with silver and white ribbon I purchased at target. It reads, "To love, honor & cherish...". The ribbon is held together by a silver heart sticker. Voila!!

Simple project, but a bit time consuming. The layout consist of an introductory page, 2 pages of the bridesmaid gown, a centerfold of bridesmaid information, followed by a page of prewedding activities and contact information. I finished it off with a small thank you. I used a thick ivory cardstock for the inner pages and a metallic burgandy cover cardstock for the booklet cover. I secured it with a organza and satin trim ribbon. It was all done using Microsoft Works.

These are done the same way as the bridesmaid newsletter only I went ahead and added a crystal to the center. Very easy!!

Using Ivory 5x7 cardstock, I printed the information accordingly and left a little bit of extra space on top. The wax seals I purchased premade from the Anna Griffith line. I wrapped a shimmery gold ribbon, adhered it with a glue strip and place the seal on top. I found the sticky part of the wax seal flimsy so the glue strip worked great. I purchased the paper, ribbon, glue strips and seals at Michaels. Can you tell I spend most of my time at Michaels? Dont forget your 40% off coupons!!!!
