BRICKBANK FIRE DEPT. HOMEPAGE

With the passing of Proposition 51 last year, the citizens of the Brickbank section of  Lego Angeles voted to incorporate and become the newest Lego community with over 100,000 residents, encompassing 17.3 miles.

Home to several movie and television studios as well as the Brickbank Airport, more and more citizens and businesses are moving to Brickbank every week, thus creating the need for a state of the art fire and rescue department.

The Brickbank Fire Department is now in limited service, operating 1 engine company,      1 Truck Company, and 1 paramedic Rescue Squad, protecting the Downtown district. All fire and medical emergencies in the rest of the city will continue to be handled by the Lego Angeles Fire Department until further notice. 

When fully operational, the Brickbank Fire Department will operate six strategically located fire stations, utilizing an equipment roster of 6 engines, 2 trucks, 3 paramedic rescue squads, 1 brush patrol, 1 hazardous materials company, 1 Urban Search And Rescue company, 1 battalion chief's vehicle and several other miscellaneous pieces of equipment.

The BFD will run three shifts (A,B,C) comprised of 24hrs on, followed by 48hrs off.

All 6 engines and both trucks will be staffed with four members (1 Capt., 1 Eng., 2 FF's)  with the exception of Paramedic Engine 15 which will be staffed by 1 Capt., 1 Engineer, and 2 Firefighter/Paramedics.

Paramedic Assessment engines will be staffed normally with one member also being a Firefighter/Paramedic. 

Hazmat 12, USAR 14, and Brush Patrol 16 will all be cross staffed.

At all times there will be two battalion chiefs on duty as well as a deputy chief and at least one investigator who will be on call. 

Currently, the Brickbank Fire Department operates 1 engine company, 1 truck company and 1 paramedic rescue squad, all staffed 24hrs. a day with 2 Captains, 2 Engineers, 4 Firefighters and 2 Firefighter/Paramedics.
