Brentwood Mahala is the first daughter of Brentwood Marquessa and is sired by Amir El Shaklan, thus making her 3/4 Amir blood. Mahala was only shown lightly as a youngster as she was very slow to mature.
A quick decision to enter her into the Queensland Black Sash show, saw her receive Reserve Champion Filly for her first time out and up against some lovely fillies. After this show we thought that she needed to take more time to mature out of the ring and she was put in foal to the grey Straight Egyptian stallion 'Simeon Sayter' who is by Anaza Bay Shahh and out of Simeon Setami. This breeding presented us with the beautiful grey colt, Brentwood El Tuqiri.
To date, Mahala has only had one baby who is growing into the most elegant stallion. Tuqiri has the most wonderful, laid back nature, which he certainly got from his mother. Hopefully one day soon we will get to breed Mahala again and maybe next time she will give us a beautiful daughter.

Brentwood Romantique.
Romy was born on the 6th October 2005, and is the second foal for Brentwood Mhystri and her sire is Brentwood Quasim Khan (aka Harley). To date she has only been shown once and that was at the Top of The Range at Toowoomba showgrounds in October 06, where she was awarded Reserve Champion Filly. She is an extremely friendly filly, one of those that has to be in your pocket no matter what you are doing.
She is proving to be very tall , and at 30 months of age is at least 15.1hh. She is still growing up and out, so we will have to wait and see just how big she ends up!
She is full of pizzazz and loves to show everyone how well she can dance and commands everyones attention! Look out for her in the ring in 2008.
