Lancashire & Cheshire Collie Club - Championship Show 2009
On 3rd May, 2009, I had the pleasure of judging Rough Collies Dogs at the Lancashire & Cheshire Collie Club Championship Show. It was an honour to be invited to judge Collies in England - the country of origin - and to be the first Australian Specialist judge to be appointed to judge at a Collie Club Championship Show in the UK.
The Dog Challenge Certificate was awarded to the stunning Eng Ch Brooklynson From Rio, owned by Mr & Mrs S Barrett, with Reserve Challenge Certificate awarded to
Ladnar Kingfisher, owned by Mr & Mrs D Randall.
I was delighted when the referee adjudicated that "Rio" should be Best of Breed, and then
BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW!

The Club presented me with a beautiful Collie statue made by Tim Griffiths.
It was just a wonderful experience. Many thanks to the Club, the exhibitors and those who contributed to the day.
