The season has now started with junior and senior boxers training with full vigour.
The training is comprehensive and rigorous, preparing each boxer both mentally and physically for the tasks ahead. Naturally, we encourage and welcome new members who will without a doubt find a new and exciting atmosphere with the community of boxing.
This is a very demanding sport that will without a doubt test you in many ways but offering it owns rewards, these rewards are not always obvious, some are as follows,
A. Fitness on an individual basis will greatly improve.
B. You will become more disciplined within yourself.
C. Reflex action will sharpen.
D. Co-ordination will improve.
E. Problem solving skills will be improved.
All the above lead to the greatest rewards of all, that being increasing your number of friends, the feeling of achievement, a great increase in confidence and a massive improvement to your personal development.
The benefits above are positives and we remain positive at all times, ensuring each boxers requirements are catered for on a group and individual basis. You will develop personally growing as person with a positive knock on affect to your professional life, ie
Juniors at school
Seniors at work.

You may remember from from Round 1 that we gave a brief on the history of the club, this history introduction will soon become concise highlighting the achievements of boxers and trainers through the decades. This will require some considerable research, but we ask for your patience and can guarantee, it will be worth the wait.
As you know, all the trainers work on a voluntary basis with all the subs going toward the running of the club ie: rent, water, electricity, repairs, new equipment.
When the season starts so does our increased commitment to our members, these include
insurance for the boxers / equipment / mini bus
the provision of refreshments
boxing cards
medicals
networking with other clubs
travel to and from venues at home and abroad
These are just a few examples. Whilst we are in the process of arranging fund raising events, we also find ourselves reliant on contributions from THE KINDNESS OF STRANGERS, friends of the club, supporters of boxing and most importantly, those who donate for the benefit of the junior boxers,

We would be grateful for any DONATION made inorder to support our club. We are working towards an online donation system .
