Blue Ridge Christian Home Educators (BRCHE) is a group of homeschool families that was established in 1990. The group meets monthly to discuss homeschool issues, share curriculum ideas, share teaching ideas, etc. Speakers are often invited to speak to the group regarding education issues.
Activities that are offered to BRCHE members include: 4-H, Co-ops, Fieldtrips, Keepers and Contenders of the Faith, Teen Group, Holiday Parties, Music Classes, Choir, and PE. Each year more activities are added. A monthly newsletter is distributed to members, August through May.
To join BRCHE, a registration form must be submitted along with a $20 yearly registration fee. Registration fee reduces to $10 beginning February 1. Early registration for the upcoming year is available in May and June at $15.
