Eagle's Nest List March-April 2007

Bogun liocichla (I've seen it!)

I just couldn't believe when I had climbed part of the Himalayas, Sa La Pass.  It was breathtaking and I had great views of the Grandala, a flock with more than 50 of them flying over my head.  4100, snow and I loved it.

I cannot explain the feeling of being in such a wonderful and peaceful place like Eagle's Nest.  I'm looking forward to go again!  My highlits: Bogun liocichla, Ward's Trogon, Grandala, Long-billed Plover, Greater Adjutant, Robin Accentor, Wedge-billed Wren Babbler, Slender-billed Wren Babbler, Long-billed Babbler, Fire-tailed Myzornis...  It will take a while to list all sightings here because I didn't do my notes on a daily basis during this trip.  It's coming soon, anyway.
