Brazilian Birder

Norfolk & World Birding

I am Claudia Banwell, a Brazilian living in Marham, a small and quiet Norfolk village alongside the River Nar, part of the Nar-Valley, I couldn't help being a member of the NarVos Group (Nar-Valley Ornithological Society).

I have a Forest Owlet photo in the Rare Birds Yearbook 2008, I will try to get another rare bird photo for 2009 yearbook.

So far my world highlights are: Forest Owlet, Hypocolius, Green Avadavat, White-naped Tit and Rock Eagle Owll, Fire-tailed Myzornis, Bogun liochicla and Grandala.  For Sri Lanka (2007): Serendib Scops Owl, Slaty-legged Crake, Ceylon Grey Hornbill and Ceylon Frogmouth.  For Norfolk (2008): White-crowned Sparrow.

239 species in England and 234 species seen in Norfolk seen in 2006.

This website is being slowly updated.  My List totals are going to be updated as soon as I have time some time off work. Soon I will upload new interesting stuff.

Thanks for looking!
