Welcome to my site of HEAVY METAL DVDS. I have been a fan of Metal since I was 4 years old. It was Kiss

Love Gun on eight track that started it all. I have collected hard to find shows for over 20 years now.

Some of my collection has been converted from vhs to dvds. Quality

may be sensitive.

I really love the 80's era of rock & roll, at that point in time the music was very aggressive and the players were very disiciplined in practicing to be the best they could be.

Defined by many to be the greatest years in rock history.

I can still remember when MTV played music video instead of sitcoms. At one time MTV aired Heavy Metal Mania hosted by Dee Snider.

This monthly show brought new & rare metal videos to the hardcore fans. This show was short lived though, only lasted

from about 1984 to 1986. At that point, a new show was born. After school you could watch a 1/2 hour

of your fav videos on a show called "METAL SHOP 1/2 HOUR". This went on to become what we all remember now as HEADBANGERS BALL. The good ole days. . . .

The point of guitar hero and skill was at a high from the time Eddie Van Halen destroyed the rock scene

in LA in the mid 70's. From that time up until about 1991 guitar gods were paving the way to become better and better on

the electric 6 string. On the Hollywood strip your could see the

future of rock guitar slowly rising. Local bands played on a regular

basis each night. Players such as Randy Rhoads, Jake E. Lee, George Lynch, Warren Demartini, and Edward Van Halen.

No one expected an explosion of rock gods to rule the world

only in a short period of time. The early 80's brought the most

influential guitar player since Hendix and Van Halen. A Swedish

teen by the name of Yngwie J. Malmsteen arrived to Hollywood and

recorded on a small independent label founded by Mike Varney.

The result turned the world of rock guitar upside down. With a

new blend of technique, Yngwie created a new genre' of playing.

NEO CLASSICAL!!!
