One of my favorite RPGs. I first bought this cause it recieved extremely bad reviews by X-Play and they were comparing it to Resident Evil 4. They don't know what they're missing. A Solid storyline that is explained clearly and isn't another watered down Final Fantasy game. Not Saying that Final Fantasy is bad but the same general thing happens in every game and has a somewhat senseless final boss. Although this game does have its flaws in the battle system. This game rocks.
A storyline that actually kept me listening instead of most other storys where I constantly hit the X button to speed through the text. Battle system is hard at times but its fair. I am dissapointed with Drakengard 2 when I compare it to the first one. The first one is more challenging since even if you ride on the dragon. The enemy is not scared of you and will shoot you off your dragon. This game does however suffer in constant hack n' slash syndrome but you can bare since the characters will talk during the combat. I also love how the game is generally acurate with the enemy soldiers in the first game.
An RPG that really emphasized on free choice. The many choices you make determine how well you fight in battle. And the many different fighting styles you can use in battle as well as the combo system makes this game very unique among the others. If you get this game I would say keep it with you. Not to mention this is a rather difficult RPG that puts most others to shame.
Easily an awesome RPG. Many Party members to choose from and the game almost forces you to have your party members work together as one. Also its one of the few RPGs that has one on one duels that sort of simulate how duels were fought in the past.
An actual great storyline thatmany can actually get. The battle system is pretty easy to get used to and the graphics as far as 2D goes, proves that 2D RPGs should stay. These game revolves mainly around alchemy (not that Full Metal Alchemist crappy alchemy) and its uses in the world. The game is pretty easy since you can make even weaker weapons better than your strongest ones available if you actually put your mind to it. I found the game rather easy but not one to be underestimated. This is definitely worth the money you pay for this game.
