My name is Tim Epner

I am currently a student here at Plattsburgh State, in beautiful upstate New York.  I am a junior majoring in mass communication.  I enjoy snowboarding, wakeboarding, skiing, camping and anything that involves being outside.  I recently had knee surgery so my season was cut a bit short but you can't hold down an old dog, or something like that.

My goals upon completion are to go to graduate school in either Boston or at Syracuse, I have heard both have great departments for mass communication.  I would really like to get into extreme sports shows, such as 54321, Bluetorch or ESPN X-Games.  I've been really interested lately in advertising and different ways to.  I'd really like to get into interactive TV, I see it as the next best thing coming around, a way to interact and watch TV.

The most difficult aspect of communication for me is reading.  I find it easier to see and hear.  I've always been a visual learner, it is very hard for me to stay concentrated on one thing when I'm reading, I have a million things running through my head at a time.
