Before you decide to fill out this form, I need you to understand that we are not like most breeders out there. It is very important to us that we keep in touch with all of our puppies. If you have not already done so, please visit our ABOUT US page and read it before you decide to apply for a SweetSummer puppy. 
We care about our puppies. We want them to have a safe and happy future. Every application is treated equally. We do not work on a first come, first serve basis. We choose families based on who we think will be the best for the SweetSummer situation. This situation is not right for everyone, and if we do not choose your family for one of our puppies, please do not take it personally. We get a lot of applications, and there are simply not enough puppies to go around. We are always willing to help you to find a reputable breeder in your area.
Our puppies are $1500.00 and come with NAPDR registration papers in hand, a puppy starter pack with info and toys and lots of goodies. They are up to date with Vet care and age appropriate vaccinations, wormings and such. They are Imprint trained with the Misty Method of early training (see our early training page for more information) and we devote hours upon hours to socializing and handling our puppies.They have their dew claws removed by our vet at 3 days of age. We do not dock our puppies tails, they are born with natural screwtails that can very in length from almost nothing to a few inches. Pure bred Boston Terriers are never be born with long straight tails like you would see on a lab or similar.
 
Your $300.00 deposit is due when the litter turns 3 weeks old to hold your puppy.
This deposit is Non-Refundable. We do not ask for any deposits or fees from you, for your name to be placed on our waiting list, this is free. You are not asked for any monies until it is confirmed that you will indeed be a SweetSummer puppy family and your litter is 3 weeks of age.
If your application is approved and you are placed on our waiting list, we will contact you when our next litter is bred and pregnancy is confirmed. We have a page for every litter, which is updated regularly with pictures of the dams growing belly, Xray, and whelping photos. Once the puppies are born, they will each have their own "Watch Me Grow" page that will be updated regularly as they grow and develop. This page will be updated even after you take your puppy home. You will find examples of these pages if you go to our "Past Litters" page and click on any one.
You should also know that we do not pick who gets which puppy until the puppies are older and can be evaluated. This way, every puppy is matched with the best possible family for that dog. What we will do, is ask you to list the litter in your order of preference and we will use those lists to help us match you to a puppy that suits your family. This is also why it is very important to fill out the application in entirety and to the best of your ability, as we use the information provided to us to help us match you to your puppy.
NO we do not place puppies based on looks or gender. We will take these things into consideration when matching you, but they will not be the determining factor in which puppy you will be matched with. You will love any puppy you get. Temperament is much more important for your future together then looks, and the puppy who we think is the cutest may not be the right match for us personality wise.  We want our puppies to have the absolute best shot, and for that to happen you must be mentally compatible with your dog.
We also do not permit visitors to the puppies until after their first vaccinations at 6 weeks of age. This is to protect the health of the litter. You are welcome to visit us before the litter is born or after the vaccinations have been done. We do not permit any unauthorised dogs or animals on the property at any time. This is also to protect the health of our dogs and keep our property puppy safe. We appreciate your understanding on this matter. We will always keep lots of pictures and updates available so you can watch your puppy grow.
 
We will always be here to help you. We are a family here at SweetSummer's and we all enjoy watching the puppies grow into adults and go through life.We have a facebook group and Forum that Puppy families post pictures to and can share their dogs developments and experiences. You can access those groups on the Forum page. They are private, and for SweetSummer puppy families only. This is to protect the privacy of our families who sometimes post personal information and family pictures. We also ask that you do not cross post anything from our forum without our permission or the permission of the original poster. I am sure you understand.
We like to get together for play dates and Boston BBQ's. We are a special group. We would love to have you join our family!
 
 
So if you are wanting to find a puppy that you take home and never have to talk to the breeder again, you may as well not fill out this form. But if you like the thought of seeing your dogs litter mates and relatives and sharing in that (even if just online through pics)and feel comforted in knowing that we will always be here for you in a Non-Invasive way if you need help, weather it is for training or even a dog sitter.
