New Opportunities... are coming our way this 2009. We look forward to the new shows being scheduled this year, breedings that we have been working on doing since 2007, and working on rebuilding the Old Boston Chat and Wired Kennel websites! There will be some amazing changes. We hope that you join with us as we make them!
Back From Phoenix ... What an amazing experience the "Running of the Bulls" show was in sunny Phoenix, AZ. We had the opportunity ot judge the United Canine Association's Colored Boston Terrier breed as well as show some of our OBB's in the IOEBA sanctioned show! Wired's D'Jango owned by Bucky of Poesta Creek Kennels went all the way to Best in Show allowing him to earn enough points to receive a Champion title. Congratulations Poesta Creek! Likewise Wired's Duke also earned his Champion title in Phoenix. Duke is owned by Mr. W. Henson of Leander, TX.
Our newest boy Wired's Kodiak Squared, AKA Deuce, earned 20 points. Deuce at only 3 months was a little nervous about about all the new smells, noises and the long 15 hour trip to Arizona. In the end he found his spot in the arms of Erin from Summit Bulldogs ... getting spoiled rotten.
Here first @ Wired ... You have never seen these dogs ... ever. We, along with our friends at Poesta Creek have been keeping them under tight wraps. We are excited to introduce Adam's Hondo, Darcey's Bess and Bailey's Sammy to the lineup here at Wired. All three of these dogs are co-owned between us and Poesta Creek. We are looking forward to the bulliness and genetic diversity that these Olde Boston's will bring to both distinctive programs.
Puppies ... Nothing is more special that new birth! Our first litter this year is between Adam's Hondo and Darcey's Bess. We are looking for some very bully and well structured bulldogges from this litter. An exciting litter that should produce some traditionally marked Olde Bostons. A great breeding for those looking at owning an Olde Boston or those breeders looking for diversity to bring into their lines.
The following litter will be between CH. Wired's Willy and Roundhead's Kaw. This litter is very exciting for us! Kaw produced a great litter for Roundhead when she was bred to Kodiak a few years ago. Now, we are taking her to a double champion bred stud. Willy is a son off of our boy CH. Hoss and a GR. CH. Kodiak grandson. This breeding will be well worth the taking for breeders and companion owners alike!
HCBC News ... Announcing two events you won't want to miss! In March HCBC will be holding a handlers clinic for those interested in showing, handling, and competing in the show ring with their dogs. This will be a great beginners course for all.
... And in April, HCBC will be co-hosting a IOEBA and UCA sanctioned show with the All Colored Boston Terrier Club! The show is set to take place in Boerne, TX, just outside San Antonio.

2009 Shows ... There are some new show locations that are either scheduled or being considered. I would encourage anyone interested in the bully breeds to consider making a show or two as part of their plans for fun in 2009!

Wired Kennels is a medium sized kennel located just outside of Liberty Hill, TX. We are proud to offer some of the finest bred Olde Boston Bulldogges and Olde English Bulldogges found anywhere.
At Wired Kennels we have been breeding dogs for over 15 years collectively, specializing in molosser breeds. Originally we started our breeding journey with a pair of beagles, Buster and Lady. Busters time came to soon. However; Lady is still with us and tries to keep all the other dogs in line. Shortly after Buster passed away we purchased our first American Pit Bull Terrier, Sampson. From there on the bulldog fever had us. Over the course of the last seven years with bully breeds, Wired Kennels has owned, co-owned or worked with English bulldogs, Valley bulldogges, Pit Bull dogs, Olde English bulldogges and our specialty, Olde Boston bulldogges.
Wired Kennels is proud to be a defining producer of Olde Boston Bulldogges. Starting from the best stock we could find, Wired has become the most sought after breeder in OBBs in the world. Wired is the first to send IOEBA registered OBBs around the globe, placing dogs in loving homes in the U.S.A., Canada, and Europe. Many OBB kennels around the United States use Wired OBBs as a cornerstone for their breeding programs. We are honored to have such an important impact in the future of the Olde Boston Bulldogge.
Wired Kennels is the first registered kennel in the United States that specializes in the breeding of Olde Boston Bulldogges. We are the first kennel to have a Champion titled Olde Boston Bulldogge, CH. Wired's Kodiak of RBB. We are the first to have won a Champion of Champions show in IOEBA history. Our kennel and dogs are held accountable by and registered with the International Olde English Bulldogge Association, and the Untied Canine Association. Wired is also a co-founding Kennel and supporter of the Hill Country Bulldogge Club. James serves as President and Becky as Secretary /Treasurer for the HCBC.
